CLEAR FACTS, CLEAR LIMITS

What a check means.

Website facts

We use the firm's own website for advertised services, coverage and public contact details. Each profile includes short quotations, source links and the date checked. A search result alone does not establish a service or a service area. A business address does not prove whole-county coverage.

Waste-carrier records

For emptying, we separately look for the registered carrier. We match the business identity using registration numbers, company details or addresses. A similar name alone is insufficient. A pending result is not proof that a business is unregistered.

A register match is not approval of workmanship, current availability, insurance or every environmental obligation. Ask the firm to identify the actual business collecting your waste and check current details before booking.

Guides

Regulatory statements have a quoted official source, a link and a check date. Country-specific statements are labelled. Guide indexing requires Charlie's approval. Unclear site-specific questions go to the responsible regulator or firm.

Area pages

We generate a service-specific area page only when three providers with distinct, checked control groups meet the evidence threshold for that service and advertised coverage. Emptying also needs a resolved carrier check. Ownership checks use corroborated legal identities and current Companies House significant-control disclosures, grouping shared controllers together. Unresolved corporate parents are held. These records do not establish every minority shareholding; ask the firms where independence is unclear. Other candidates remain review drafts.

Payment and ordering

Ordinary listings are alphabetical and free. Payment cannot change facts or verification. Any future paid prominence must be labelled “Ad — Featured listing”. No paid placements are active.

Corrections

Checks are dated. If evidence becomes unclear, we return the claim or profile for checking rather than inventing a replacement fact. Corrections and removal.
